1. Overview
Legally Logistics offers insurance coverage options to users who send items through our platform. This insurance provides protection against loss or damage during transit, based on the user’s selected coverage level at the time of booking.

2. Coverage Options
Users can select from the following insurance options:

3. No Insurance Option

If a user opts not to purchase insurance, Legally Logistics’ maximum liability for any loss, damage, or delay related to the shipment shall not exceed ₦3,000 (Three Thousand Naira) regardless of the item’s declared or actual value.

4. Insured Shipments
For users who purchase insurance:

  • The chosen insurance level must correspond to the declared value of the item.
  • Claims may only be made up to the maximum coverage value of the selected insurance option.
  • Proof of value (e.g., receipts, invoices, or verifiable estimates) may be required when processing claims.

5. Exclusions
Insurance does not cover:

  • Loss or damage arising from improper packaging, prohibited items, or natural disasters.
  • Loss of cash, precious stones, perishable goods, or fragile items not adequately protected.
  • Any indirect or consequential loss (e.g., loss of profit or business).

6. Claims Process

  • Claims must be reported within 48 hours of delivery (or expected delivery date if item is lost).
  • Users must provide shipment details, proof of value, and evidence of loss or damage.
  • Legally Logistics reserves the right to investigate and approve or deny any claim based on its findings.

7. Limitation of Liability
Under no circumstance shall Legally Logistics’ liability exceed the corresponding maximum coverage limit associated with the insurance selected at the time of booking.
